I perform under the guise of Palo Dado, a quartet based in Toronto performing Mexican traditional music, and other tropical genres such as reggae and cumbia.

Since 2001 Anona Music has been the platform for my engagement with Mexican music as a performer, promoter, producer and programmer. While based in Xalapa, Veracruz for over a decade, Anona Music produced a series of 7 compact disks of field recordings.

Click here for more information about the series of field recordings.

I have also curated projects with visiting artists from Mexico the U.S.A and other parts of Canada coming to Toronto to collaborate with local musicians.

A few of these have been: La Marisoul, Martha González, Zenen Zeferino, Mamselle, Tlacuatzin and  Jorge Morenos.
